Kevin Manahan

Title: President and chief actuary 

Education: BS and MS in mathematics from the University of California at San Diego.

 Professional: Kevin is an enrolled actuary (EA) and a member of the

  • Society of Actuaries (SOA)

  • The American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA)

  • The American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries (ASPPA).

 He has been involved in reviewing EA enrollment exams for the Joint Board for Enrolled Actuaries.

 Kevin has spoken and conducted seminars for CPAs, brokers, and insurance clients.

Kevin and CMC are devoted to continuous education and many on our staff are credentialed by the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries.

Mike Bain

Title: Chairman and CEO

 Education: BS and MS in mathematics from the University of California at Riverside, where he also earned a Phi Beta Kappa key.

Professional: Mike is an enrolled actuary and a member of the:

  • Society of Actuaries

  • The American Academy of Actuaries

  • The American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries (ASPPA).

He is very active with the various professional organizations at the national level.  He has been on the board of directors for ASPPA and chaired their education and examination committee.

 He speaks locally for various CPA and insurance groups and at national conferences to other pension professionals.  He has also taught pension courses at the university level and for ASPPA.
